Exmouth Alcohol & Other Drugs Committee
Alcohol and other drug problems have health, social and financial impacts on the Exmouth community. As well as the direct impact on individuals and families, the community as a whole is affected.
The Exmouth Alcohol and Other Drugs Committee (EAODC) was established in 2018 with the long term objective to reduce and prevent the impact of alcohol and other drug related harm and problems in Exmouth.
The EAODC was not established to take the place of existing agencies and organisations but rather aims to ensure that activities and programs that address alcohol and drug misuse in Exmouth occur in a coordinated and collaborative manner.
The EAODC committee is made up of representatives from the following stakeholder groups:
- Shire of Exmouth
- Centacare Family Services
- Department of Defence
- Exmouth District High School
- Exmouth District Hospital
- Exmouth PCYC
- Exmouth Police
- Midwest Mental Health Service
- Raytheon
