Become a member of our library for FREE! Whether you're a resident of the Shire of Exmouth or just passing through on a Coral Coast and Ningaloo Reef adventure, we have various membership options to suit your needs. Plus, as a member, you'll also get access to our eResources!

To join, please click here to complete the membership form and provide a form of identification as detailed below when attending the Exmouth Public Library in person:

Required ID for Permanent residents of Exmouth

Library membership is FREE to all Exmouth residents. You must present an ID, such as a Driver's licence, passport, rate notice, or rental agreement, showing your current residential address.

Required ID for visitors from other WA Public Libraries

  • WA Public Library Membership Card (with your home library)
  • ID - Driver’s Licence or passport with proof of your current WA residential address

Interstate and Overseas Travellers and WA Residents without Membership to their local library

Temporary Membership is available if you are staying in Exmouth for a minimum of 7 days from THE date of joining. A bond is payable on application and refunded on return of all items to the library in original condition.

  • ID - Driver’s Licence; Passport.
  • $50.00 deposit to borrow up to 2 items
  • $80.00 deposit to borrow up to 5 items
  • The value of items borrowed cannot exceed the bond paid.
