Eight Exmouth community clubs and organisations will share $12,000 funding to support activities and events that promote increased engagement and participation in community life and improve residents' health and well-being outcomes in the second round of applications for the current Financial Year.
The Shire of Exmouth delivered its Community and Sporting Grants Program (CSG) for the fourth time, receiving eight local community organisations' applications. All projects promote social connectedness and healthy lifestyles and are vital in maintaining the sense of community that Exmouth residents so highly value.
The CSG offers up to $1,500 ex GST to eligible local organisations to support small-scale initiatives from October 2020 to 30 June 2022. Eligible local groups may apply for support for up to two (2) events/activities per round (up to a maximum of four (4) per year) and are subject to available pool funding.
