EXMOUTH CALLS FOR CONSCIOUS TRAVEL IN 2025 TOP TOURISM TOWN AWARDS
Exmouth proudly announces its participation in the 2025 Top Tourism Town Awards, marking a significant step in promoting sustainable and responsible tourism. After achieving unprecedented success, including three consecutive Gold wins in Western Australia, induction into the Tourism Council Western Australia Hall of Fame, and two National Gold awards as Australia’s Top Tourism Town (population under 5,000), Exmouth is once again showcasing its unique charm and commitment, while highlighting the need of environmental preservation.
This year’s submission is a heartfelt call to action, urging travellers to explore the wonders of Ningaloo consciously and responsibly. The Shire of Exmouth is emphasising the importance of planning ahead and securing bookings before arrival, ensuring a seamless and sustainable experience for both visitors and the local environment.

Consumer voting opens today and continues until 5pm on Thursday, May 1. This voting will be promoted by Tourism WA, Visitor Centres WA and RAC WA.
