Exmouth Boat Harbour Maintenance Dredging 2024

The Department of Transport (DoT) is planning to commence maintenance dredging works at the Exmouth Boat Harbour (EBH). Operations are proposed to occur predominantly within the entrance channel with disposal on Town Beach. The works will involve the use of a cutter suction dredge to pump dredged material through a pipeline to the Town Beach Disposal Site.

• Occasional maintenance dredging is required in the basin and entrance channel of the EBH to maintain navigable depths for commercial and recreational users of the harbour
• Project duration: late April/Early May – July 2024
• Dredging, bypassing and nourishment works are expected to be conducted between Monday to Sunday, 0700 to 1900 hours
